On September 6th, 2019, JYP Entertainment announced that they would release Twice‘s second Japanese album after the 2017 first Japanese album, #Twice. The second album is titled &Twice. &Twice (pronounced “and Twice”) consists of 11 songs. This album is a J-pop and EDM genre with the title track “Fake & True”. &Twice was released by Warner Music Japan on November 19th, 2019. And a repackage was re-released on February 5th, 2020, with an additional song titled “Swing”. One of the Twice members participated in writing the lyrics of one of the songs on the &Twice album. The lyrics of this song were written by one of Twice’s rappers, Chaeyoung together with Risa Horie. Not only writing lyrics, but Chaeyoung also composed the music of “How U Doin’” along with FRANTS. The song has a cheerful melody with a beat that is neither too fast nor too slow. However, it turns out that this song is about a person who misses her ex-lover.
