Pawandeep Rajan is an Indian singer. He known as winning of singing reality show The Voice India and Indian Idol 12. Pawandeep has performed across the country and also composed music for many Hindi and Marathi films. Pawandeep Rajan born on 27 July 1996 in Champawat, Uttrakhand. His father Mr. Suresh Rajan is a famous and renown Kaumani folk singer. Pawandeep completed his primary education from University senior Secondary School, Champawat. He did his graduation from Kumaun University, Nainital. Pawandeep made his singing career and television debut with singing reality show The Voice India in 2015. He auditioned for the show and selected in team Shaan (popular singer Shaan). He performed extremely well throughout the show and that lead him to made into finals and he won the show title with 50 lacs rupees money prize, a car and a music company contract. After getting in limelight he started making his individual albums. She sung four songs in film Romeo N Bullet. In 2015, He released his single Yakeen and in 2016, individual album Chholiyar containing total 6 songs. He recently appeared in another singing reality show Indian Idol 2020. Pawandeep Rajan is in relationship with his Indian Idol 12 co-contestant Arunita Kanjilal. Even the couple also popularly known as #AruDeep among the fans. Pawandeep Rajan was born and brought up in Champawat, Uttrakhand. Pawandeep is a member of Chandigarh-based band Rait, where he performs as lead vocalist along with Pawan Bhatt, Paras Roriyal and Vishant Nagra. He won the youngest tabla player award when he was 2 years old. In 2016, Pawandeep announced as Youth Brand Ambassador of Uttrakhand by Uttrakhand Government. He is winner of The Voice India show in 2015, the show is judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan and Mika Singh. In 2021, he emerged as winner of the Indian Idol 12 and won a car and Rs 25 lakh cash prize. After winning show, Pawandeep said, “I did not think much during the final moments. There was only one thing in my mind that whoever wins the show, the trophy will come to one of my friends. Because we all are one big family. In fact, when I got the trophy I was not feeling very great because all of us were deserving. We all have planned to work together in the future and we will be in contact with each other even after the show.”
